St. Anthony's Church, Woonsocket, RI, was established as an Italian parish on November 14, 1924 by the late Bishop William A. Hickey, D.D.
At the time, most of the Italian families in the Woonsocket area were members of St. Charles Church in Woonsocket. The basement of that church was utilized for worship until St. Anthony's Church was built.
CCD classes start up again on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Registration forms available online or at the doors of the church must be submitted by Sept. 19. If you have any questions please speak to Msgr. Simeone after Mass or call the rectory (766-2640).
